Greek Turkey Burgers Recipe
Ground turkey, feta cheese, and Greek salad dressing are mixed together in these Greek turkey burgers perfect for summer grilling.
These are a big hit in the summertime when everyone is tired of the same old hamburgers and hot dogs.
Move over hamburgers -these turkey burgers studded with feta cheese, Kalamata olives, and oregano are fabulous. Grill and serve on your favorite whole wheat bun or stuffed inside pita bread.
The only burrger I will eat, delicious. I omitted the greek dressing . I used frozen spinach thawed and squeezed the water from it and added some garlic, the frozen spinach keeps the burger moist. I used the Greek dressing as a condiment on the burger.
I followed the recipe and liked the flavor but I had a real hard time with the texture. To mushy. I'm not sure if it was because of the ground turkey brand I used, the brand I usually use was not available so had to use Jennie O which I don't care for.
This was a simple and versital recipe that we could easily make gluten and dairy free. We added goat chevre instead of feta and used gluten free bread to make out bread crumbs. We also changed the dressing to fit what we had on hand and it worked out great. The only concern we had was that the burgers were a bit squishy so we decided to cook them in a skillet instead of a grill. They firmed up fine once cooked. Delish!! Enjoy!!
These were excellent. I didn't use the salad dressing and used frozen spinach thawed, drained and squeezed dry with paper towels and these were excellent. I added more feta and added 2 large garlic cloves as well. Served it with brioche buns, tomato slices and homemade Tszaziki Sauce.
Excellent! Also good if add sundried tomatoes!
