I love it so much I'm throwing out my previous popcorn maker.
I've been making popcorn this way for years. Be sure to sit the bag up, not down on its side. And if your microwave does not have a turntable, turn your bag every 30 seconds or so. 1/2 cup was way too much and some of my popcorn burned. Next time I'll use 1/3 cup as I usually use to pop in a microwave. My paper bag might have been too small as well. However, popcorn that was popped turned out perfect nd as expected, which is why I give it 5*s today. Not the recipe's fault, you will have to find the right combination of popcorn amount, bag size, and microwave power.
